Becoming a Sigma sister is a great opportunity, a privilege, and also a commitment. That's why during the course of the recruitment process, we take the time to get to know the ladies because we want to find out if they have Sigma Potential or not.
There are five mandatory steps in the Sigma Beta Phi recruitment process; they are the following:
1. Information Session
2. Initial Interview
3. Rush (for Beta Alpha only)
5. Final Interview
All applicants must successfully complete the recruitment process in its entirety in order to be initiated into the sorority. The recruitment process varies from 4-6 months long. Furthermore, Sigma Beta Phi Sorority has a strict anti-hazing policy. Our recruitment process is free of any activities, tasks, or rituals that are degrading, humiliating and/or potentially dangerous to any interested member's physical, emotional, or mental being.
The Beta Alpha Chapter holds a Rush Period each academic year. Please check the events tab for upcoming recruitment events or email us at email@example.com
In order to be eligible for the Beta Alpha Rush process, the ladies must meet the following requirements:
- Female university student
- Good academic standing
- Attendance to at least one information session
- Successful completion of all application forms
- Attend the pre-Rush interview

Sigma Alpha Alpha
This recruitment process can also be done by general inquiry at the email@example.com email as well as conducted through graduate recruitment by all Beta Alpha members at any time of the year. Application forms will be sent following the inquiry/request. All interested candidates must have completed a bachelor's degree or its equivalent at the university level.
